The Drums are a pretty new band consisting of Jonathan Pierce and Jacob Graham based out of Florida. They play really summery tunes about heartbreak and whatnot but there's something about these guys that makes them really stick out in my mind. They have an ep out now called Summertime that is worth every bit of your time. It reminds me a lot of The Smiths, but with some of the modern twists that you typically find in "chill-wave" or "glo-fi" or whatever these darn kids are calling stuff these days. Anyway you should really listen to the ep. I'm greatly looking forward to the long player they're supposed to be releasing soonish.
